Black ZZ Plant Care & Information

The Black ZZ Plant, also known as ‘Supernova’, 'Oscura', or Raven ZZ, is a visually striking and unique cultivar of the Zamioculcas zamiifolia species. What sets this cultivar apart is its striking foliage that starts out bright lime green that eventually hardens to a rich purple-black, creating a contrasting appearance to any collection. Like other ZZs, the Black ZZ is also low light and drought-tolerant.

Medium plants measure between 14–21 inches tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
Large plant measures between 2-3 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
Arrives in a nursery grow pot nestled in your planter choice
If you purchase a large plant with a planter, the planter will ship separately
Large plants require less frequent waterings due to their higher volume of soil
